Westwood Warriors has players of all kinds...All are PASSIONATE about golf, but
Junior Golf Scoreboard: This website is dedicated to Junior Golfers. They are best known for the
ranking of junior players nationally, but they also have excellent articles on "being recruited".
They inform golfers of collegiate recruiting protocol (when coaches can contact you, etc) This
website is a must for a Junior Golfer who is constantly improving and wants to see how they
measure up with others.
PING American College Golf Guide: This is an online service ($99/year) but is well worth the
money for a golfer serious about playing at the collegiate level. With membership, you are able to
research which schools best fit your criteria and determine if you would be the best fit for their
team. It has their scoring averages of their team, information about their team composition, point
of contact, etc.
- Some don't really see themselves playing golf collegiately
- Others would love to play collegiate golf
- And yet others are looking at colleges more for the academics but feel that their golf resume might give them the nudge to get into top tier schools.
